Common Switching Questions

What every operator asks before signing.

What happens to my reservations / OpenTable / Resy?

Your reservations platform stays. We integrate Aireus with it so covers, server assignments, and seating data flow into the POS as they do today.

What if my staff revolts?

Most operators report the opposite. Apple-native means servers are typically productive in 2–4 hours and tend to prefer the iPad workflow over their previous POS within a week.

What about my gift card balances?

Migrated. Existing gift card holders can redeem in Aireus on day one. We pull your balance file from the prior platform and rebuild the active balance ledger.

How much downtime do I have to plan for?

Effectively none. Parallel cutover means Aireus and your old POS both run during the 48-hour transition window. If anything is unstable on Aireus, the old system absorbs the service.

What is the price after the migration credit?

Same flat-fee tiers shown on the Pricing page — $399, $899, $1,499/mo by iPad count. The $1,500 migration credit waives the one-time setup. Annual commit takes another 12% off.

What if a key feature I need is not on Aireus today?

Aireus builds custom features as part of the offering — not a $50K consulting line item. If a feature is critical to your operation and not in the platform today, our engineering team scopes and builds it before cutover.
